Riding in front of Luxor temple

Our story

The story of Lala Land began in 2017, when its founder, Lala, first set foot in Luxor and instantly felt a deep connection to the city. It was as if she had finally found the place where she truly belonged. Captivated by Luxor’s warm atmosphere, rich history, and the heartfelt kindness of its people, she returned again and again — each visit strengthening her bond with this magical place.

During one of these visits, Lala attended a traditional horse dancing show, where she met Hamada — a passionate horseman deeply rooted in Egypt’s equestrian heritage. She was immediately enchanted by his majestic black stallion, Moataz. Since Hamada’s stable was the only one on Luxor’s east bank and just a short walk from her hotel, Lala kept returning — each time with apples in hand to spoil the horses. With every visit, the stable began to feel more and more like home.

Over time, an idea began to take shape: to create a place where visitors could experience the magic of Luxor not just through horseback riding but also through the vibrant spirit of Egyptian folklore. Together, Lala and Hamada envisioned a modernized stable that would offer tourists an authentic glimpse into Egypt's cultural richness, combining folklore shows and unforgettable tours to leave guests with memories they would cherish forever.

But the journey was anything but easy. The stable was in a state of disrepair — everything had to be rebuilt from the ground up. The entire area needed to be modernized to provide the horses with a safe and comfortable home. In January 2025, the construction began. Step by step, Lala and Hamada poured their energy, love, and determination into transforming the space — not only into a welcoming home for the animals, but also into a magical retreat for visitors.

By early May 2025, the construction work was completed, and the stable was officially inaugurated with a festive opening party. Today, Lala Land is home to 12 horses, each with its own box and a personal fan to provide relief from the summer heat.
